Two ways to meet
the dolphins.
Some days are about introducing the little ones to something new. Others are about spending more time in the water. Let's find the dolphin experience that fits your crew.
Which dolphin experience
sounds like your Cabo?
Both are guided experiences with a marine mammal specialist. The difference is how much time you spend in the water, what kind of interaction you're looking for, and who is coming along.
Start with a hello.
Meet dolphins in a guided shallow-water setting. A shorter, easier introduction designed to welcome younger guests and people who aren't looking for a full swim.
- Guided educational interaction
- Shallow-water experience
- Life jacket, locker and towel
- Winter wetsuit when provided by operator
Transportation: Operator lists round-trip hotel shuttle at $15 USD per traveler, paid at check-in. Children 1–9 require one paying companion aged 16+ per child.
Ask about the Encounter →Make a little more time.
Spend more time with the dolphins through a guided swim program, educational briefing, and extended interaction in the water.
- Two operator-described swim sessions
- Guided educational briefing
- Snacks / refreshments; lunch is also advertised
- Round-trip hotel transportation advertised as included
Age rules: Children 4–9 require one paying companion aged 16+ per child. Confirm exact meals and transfer arrangements before booking.
Ask about the Premium Swim →Operator screenshots show promotional prices of $83.40 USD for Encounter and $143.39 USD for Premium Swim, each “from” per guest. These are reference rates only, not confirmed WDCF prices or live availability.
The best experience isn't
the same for everyone.
Traveling with a toddler or someone who'd rather stay in shallow water? The Encounter may be the better fit. Want a longer, more involved swim? Take a look at Premium. Tell us who's coming and what kind of day you're imagining. We'll help you compare the details before you commit.
Help me choose →The details that matter.
Encounter starts at age 1; Premium at age 4. The operator requires a paying adult companion aged 16+ for each child aged 1–9 or 4–9 respectively.
Bring a swimsuit and money for any transportation charges, gratuities, photographs or souvenirs. Check the operator's sun-protection rules.
Life jackets are required. Cameras are limited to observation areas; jewelry and sunscreen are not allowed in the experience area. Pregnancy restrictions apply.
What's included?
Encounter: educational shallow-water interaction, life jacket, locker, towel, and seasonal wetsuit. Premium: educational briefing, extended dolphin interaction, snacks and advertised lunch and round-trip transportation. Specific inclusions are subject to operator confirmation.
What costs extra?
Encounter hotel transportation is advertised at $15 USD per traveler, payable at check-in. Photos, souvenirs, gratuities, and private experiences are optional purchases. Premium transport is advertised as included.
How does pickup work?
The operator asks guests to select their hotel during checkout and sends pickup details by email. The screenshots indicate a later confirmation of the exact time and location. Guests in private villas or Airbnbs may need to arrange their own transfer to a designated meeting point.
Are these experiences suitable for non-swimmers?
The Encounter is described as a shallow-water activity suitable for non-swimmers. Premium is a moderate-activity swim; confirm swimming requirements and accessibility with the operator before booking.
What about dolphin welfare?
The operator describes its marine center as American Humane Certified. Certification status, welfare standards, and personal comfort with captive dolphin encounters are worth checking independently before choosing an experience.
